Shruthi Venkatesh

Research Executive, India

Shruthi Venkatesh, a research executive with Firefly MB, received her first taste of research-driven marketing through her role at advertising giant Ogilvy & Mather in Mumbai. She came into the role managing operations and soon found herself diving more in-depth into research projects for the firm. She discovered she liked it.

In her role with Firefly MB, she’s doing more of what she truly enjoys by delivering qualitative research with a consumer-based focus. Shruthi is an advocate of the value of qualitative research as the cornerstone for developing great advertising. It provides deep understanding, helps to stimulate thinking, and delivers insights about consumers and their relationships with brands and advertising.

When she’s not fully immersed in research, she’s reading works by acclaimed authors like George Orwell, Bill Bryson, Haruki Murakami, Jeffrey Archer and J.K. Rowling. And even though she’s read Orwell’s 1984 and Animal Farm 15 times to-date, she claims she’s not overly obsessive about it.
