Raluca Munteanu

Senior Qualitative Researcher, Consumer Insights Specialist, Romania

Raluca holds a Bachelor Degree in Political Science from the Faculty of Political Science, University of Bucharest. She was first exposed to the field of Qualitative Market Research in the 3rd University year, when she participated in an International training held by a European Youth Association on the subject. It was love at first sight for her.

In 2006 she was offered a role at the then Daedalus Millward Brown. Her association with now Firefly Millward Brown is currently 8 years long. She has since worked across industries, some of the key clients being Vodafone, Raiffeisen Bank, Delhaize Group and Ursus Breweries.

She believes that her strength lies in her ability to connect the dots leading up from consumer behaviour to business objectives. Using her analytical skills she is able to help clients bridge the gap in consumer understanding and using it to drive behaviour.

Since 2011, she has integrated into the qualitative department a series of new and innovative methodologies. Development of research tools and methodologies is an area that excites her tremendously.

Clients and friends alike see her as an optimistic, light-hearted, patient, pensive and practical individual.

Quick facts:

  • She has a truly international palate, she loves good Belgian beer, Italian food and has a Latin spirit
  • Had an initial passion for Political Diplomacy, but gave it up to pursue Market Research because while both deal with people in her opinion Market Research has a much stronger, practical and beneficial impact on people‚Äôs lives.
  • She takes up theatre courses because they take her out of her comfort zone.
